Final Research Paper

For your final research paper, you are to research and report on an issue or topic related to chemistry. While the research you are doing is not original, your analysis and reporting of your findings must be original, thus cited properly and not plagiarised. Ideas include, but are not limited to:
  • Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry
    • Drugs; medicine; pharmaceuticals
    • Brain chemistry; neurotransmitters
    • Disease mechanisms
    • Health, exercise, and nutrition
  • Environmental and Analytical Chemistry
    • Air, food, and water quality/safety; pollution
    • Climate and atmospheric changes
    • Energy and fuels
  • Physical Chemistry and Material Science
    • Thermodynamics and energy
    • Molecular, atomic, or quantum research
    • Electronics
    • Plastics and metals
Specifications in brief: No less than six pages, double spaced, one-inch margins and size 11 or 12 standards fonts (Times New Roman or Arial). At least six different sources should be cited. APA or MLA format is preferred.
